Superb! Easy to purchase a ticket. I had a live customer service chat once, the staff member was so polite, helpful and informative. I loved the communication after purchase. On the match day they contacted me on WhatsApp if I want an upgrade on my tickets for free and after my confirmation I got my tickets within a minute. Great experience, thank you.

This is the best and most trusted website to get your tickets to any world event. I have used them 3 times throughout the years, I have used other sites for football matches and they are so transparent and fast, the first time I used them was in 2018 for a Roma match and then made the mistake to use a different site for the PSG match in April and they were terrible, from the website, customer service and responses. this is the only site I trust and use!

Bought 2 Club Wembley tickets less than 48 hours before the Championship Play Off Final. Good communication and tickets arrived the following day by email. No problems getting into the stadium and seats were great. Unfortunately my team’s performance was the only let down. Would definitely use this company again.

It was easier than I thought to find a group of seven seats together and very simple to book. Communication was excellent, the tickets were sent quickly and were easy to access, so no problems at the stadium. Seats were good and we had a great view. Everything worked well and I'll definitely be back for tickets again - many thanks!

Anfield Stadium

Capacity: 54,074

Address: Anfield Road, Liverpool L4 0TH, UK

Anfield Stadium has been Liverpool's stadium since 1893. It was originally the stadium of Liverpool's biggest rival Everton. For many years, Liverpool is the home team at Anfield and the atmosphere in this stadium is unique. There are plans to extend the capacity to 61,000 in the future.

Anfield Road

Anfield Seating Guide: Try to Find Your Perfect Seat!

Anfield has 61,276 seats on the field, and they are located in four iconic stands, which will each provide a different matchday event. Whether you're hoping for the splashy Kop atmosphere or want something more laid out; this roadmap tells you which side to purchase for your match in Liverpool.

The Kop Stand

Kop is the spiritual home of Liverpool supporters, and arguably one of the most famous stands in world soccer. This single-tier stand sits behind the goal at the south end of Anfield and has around 12,500 supporters.

Atmosphere: Unmatched. The Kop- where You'll Never Walk Alone is heard most loudly. This is where you need to be if you want to be a part of the famous wall of noise.

Best for: The die-hard fans who would rather sing for 90 minutes, the supporters who prefer atmosphere to perfect sightlines.

Consider: You want the best Anfield experience and have no complaints about staying up for stretches of the match (Kop fans typically don't even sit down during a game, even in empty seating).

View: Being behind the goal means the more faraway action can seem far away. But you're right on top of the goal near it—perfect for celebrating when Liverpool attack against the Kop end, usually second half.

Breakdown of Sections

  • Kop Central (Blocks 204-207): The heart of the atmosphere, the loudest.
  • Kop Wings (Blocks 200-203, 208-210): Slightly improved angles; still great atmosphere.

Tip: Liverpool often attack the Kop in the second half. If you wish to see some close-up goals, hope for a dominant home performance after the break.

Main Stand

Anfield's biggest stand, which was expanded in 2016 and now holds over 20,000 supporters in three tiers, is the Main Stand. This is where you catch the best sightlines and get premium seating.

Atmosphere: A bit quieter than the Kop, but still rowdy. Size is impressive and a very visual background.

Best for: First-time visitors looking for a spectacular view, families who prefer to watch while sitting, hospitality guests.

Consider: You love having the best overall view of the pitch, you're bringing children, or you're just going for comfort.

View: Elevated sections of the center provide the most extensive view within the stadium overall. You also see tactical patterns clearly, the full width of the pitch and both goals clearly.

Sections breakdown:

  • Lower Tier Central: The closest to the pitch and great atmosphere for Main Stand.
  • Upper Tier Central (Blocks M4-M6): The best seats in Anfield – high enough to see tactics or goals, central for perfect views.
  • Upper Tier Wings: Nice views, more economical than central.

Tip: Top central Main Stand seats also sell quickly, so they can be popular with international visitors. If you prefer, book early.

Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand

Formerly the Centenary Stand, this stand was renamed in 2017 to honor Liverpool's greatest ever player. It has space across the pitch at two tiers of seating, opposite the Main Stand, with nice views.

Atmosphere: A decent middle ground — more energetic than Main Stand, but not at Kop levels.

Best for: Fans seeking decent atmosphere and good sightlines, the balance of price and experience.

Consider: You want to see both goals fairly well, but still have a good atmosphere.

View: Same high views as Main Stand on the opposite side. The two-tier structure means even top spots are connected to the action.

Sections breakdown:

  • Lower Tier Central: Near pitch level, good atmosphere.
  • Upper Tier Central: Great views, popular with regular matchgoers.
  • Corners (close to Kop): Benefit from Kop atmosphere spillover.

Tip: Areas closest to the Kop are apt to pick up the songs faster than farther sections, giving a combination of both good views and atmosphere.

Anfield Road Stand

The latest feature of Anfield after 2023 which joins the 2023 extension, is the Anfield Road Stand which stands behind the goal opposite the Kop. The lower tier is for away supporters, while the home fans are in the upper sections.

Atmosphere: The upper tier is cementing its identity — new, but fandoms are carving their own turf. The lower tier is home to away supporters only.

Best for: Home fans who want behind-the-goal views; fans who enjoy watching attacks develop toward them.

Consider: If you'd like to see FC Liverpool attacking towards you in the first half (most shots directed towards the Kop in the second half).

View: Behind-the-goal perspective means fantastic views of just one end, more remote views of Kop-end action.

Sections breakdown:

  • Upper Tier (Home fans): The newest seats in Anfield, a modern facility.
  • Lower Tier (Away fans only): These are for visiting supporters.

Tip: The best angles are given on upper Anfield Road sections nearest the Main Stand, although they are still in the newer portion of the stadium.

A Short Comparison: Whose Stand to Choose?

Priority Best Stand Why
Best atmosphere The Kop Nothing compares to the wall of sound.
Best view Main Stand Upper Central Great views, see everything.
First-time visitor Main Stand or Kenny Dalglish Balance of atmosphere and views.
Families with children Main Stand Lower Well maintained seating experience.
Budget-minded Anfield Road Upper or Kenny Dalglish Wings Good value but not too much.
Singing & standing The Kop Expect to be on your feet from top to bottom.
Photography Main Stand Upper The best angles and goal clarity; both visible in standing.

The Anfield Matchday for You: What to expect

Visiting Anfield is not just about watching soccer — it is a pilgrimage for all fans around the world. Here’s everything you need to know to enjoy your Liverpool matchday.

When to Arrive

Stadium gates open: 2 hours before kick-off (90 minutes for some cup games)

Recommended arrival times:

  • 3+ hours before: Visit the stadium, The Kop mural, drink at a local pub
  • 2 hours before: Go into the stadium as gates open, experience it as it unfolds
  • 1 hour before: The latest comfortable arrival – get yourself some food/drinks, find your seat
  • 30 minutes before: Minimum recommended – you'll miss the build-up
  • 15 minutes before: Essential – You’ll Never Walk Alone begins 5-7 minutes prior to kick-off

Our recommendation: Arrive at least 90 minutes before kick-off to experience the full atmosphere and avoid rushing.

The You’ll Never Walk Alone Experience

No Anfield guide is complete without preparing you for the most spine-tingling moment in soccer.

When it occurs: About 5-7 minutes prior to kick-off, as squads emerge from the tunnel

What to expect:

  1. The Anfield DJ delivers the opening notes
  2. The Kop lifts scarves up over their heads (bring one, or pick one up outside the ground)
  3. 60,000+ voices singing together
  4. The whole stadium turns into a wall of red and white scarves

How to participate:

  • Know the words (they are all simple – look them up beforehand)
  • Make sure you hold your scarf above your head with both hands
  • Sing from your heart – nobody judges your voice at Anfield
  • For now, feel it (don't film it)—keep your phone in your pocket

Why it matters: You'll Never Walk Alone has been Liverpool's anthem since 1963, when The Kop took the Gerry and the Pacemakers version. It comes across as a rallying cry of solidarity, belonging and the special relationship between Liverpool FC and its loyal fans. Regardless of if Liverpool win or lose, this song means the same thing: we're in this together.

Tip: You're in the Kop and you're around fans that have been singing that verse for years. Follow their lead and let the emotion take over.

Important landmarks around Anfield

Before you enter the stadium, take time to savor Anfield's landmarks:

The Shankly Gates

Iconic iron gates featuring the words “You'll Never Walk Alone” at the Anfield Road entrance.

This section, named after legendary manager Bill Shankly, carries more pictures than any other in the stadium.

The Hillsborough Memorial

An eternal flame and memorial by the Shankly Gates commemorating the 97 people who died in the Hillsborough disaster in 1989. A moment of silent reflection is important for any visitor here.

Bill Shankly Statue

Bronze statue of Liverpool's transformational manager standing outside the Kop. His famous quote adorns the plinth: "He made the people happy."

Bob Paisley Statue

Located near the Centenary Stand, honouring the most successful manager in Liverpool's history (6 league titles, 3 European Cups).

The Kop Mural

Mural of the Kop on the grounds beyond the stand.

"This Is Anfield" Sign

Inside the stadium; in the tunnel – players touch it for luck prior to matches. Visible on stadium tours, but not match days for normal ticket holders.

After the Final Whistle

Leaving the stadium:

  • Give crowds 15-20 minutes to disperse
  • Main routes towards Anfield Road and Walton Breck Road
  • For exits, follow steward directions

Post-match atmosphere:

  • Local pubs fill quickly after the match
  • Street vendors peddle scarves and merchandise
  • Do not drive straight after – the traffic is congested for more than 30 minutes

Public transport:

  • Soccerbus services last for approximately 90 minutes after the last whistle
  • Normal buses (17, 26, 27) from nearby stops
  • Think about walking across to city center (2.5 miles) – there are lots of pubs there

Tip: The better atmosphere after a match comes from local pubs, where fans talk over a pint and discuss the game. The Albert or The Sandon are the closest to the ground.

Make Anfield a memorable experience

Visit Anfield is not just about 90 minutes of soccer – it's about being part of a community that spans generations and continents. Come into town early, sing loud, respect the story and you will see why Liverpool fans call Anfield the best stadium on earth.

Liverpool's Greatest Rivalries

Manchester United - The North-West Derby

The match between Liverpool and Man United is often referred to as the North-West derby. Both teams are two of the most successful English soccer clubs. The rivalry between these teams is also based on the fact they both represent a major city in the United Kingdom.

Steven Gerrard scoring at Anfield

Everton - The Merseyside Derby

The distance between Anfield and Goodison Park is just 3169 feet. The best ingredient for a fierce rivalry between two professional soccer clubs. This makes Everton a serious rival of Liverpool FC. The city of Liverpool is divided between Red (LFC) and Blue (Everton). The Merseyside derby is one of the most exciting derbies in the world of soccer.

AC Milan

Although Liverpool & AC Milan are not geographically close to each other, the fixtures between these two clubs are still fierce. In the last 16 years, the two clubs have played each other an incredible 51 times.

Who will ever forget the famous 'Ghost Goal' in the 2005 Champions League Semi-Final at Anfield? Or the infamous 'Gerrard's Slip' at Anfield in 2014? Whenever these two clubs come up against each other, there's always drama!
