The Stade Louis-II is a multi-purpose sports complex located in the Principality of Monaco. It was inaugurated on January 25, 1985 by Prince Rainier III. The stadium features an 18,523-seat soccer arena, an athletics track, a multi-sport hall, and an aquatic center. Named after Prince Louis II of Monaco, who commissioned the construction of the original stadium in 1939, the current stadium replaced the old site, which was transformed into the Fontvieille shopping center, housing two museums and a multi-purpose hall.
